Deprogrammed: Upcoming Premieres in Copenhagen and Montreal


Mia Donovan's Deprogrammed, a documentary about the controversial practice of "cult deprogramming" developed by the equally controversial Ted Patrick, premieres at CPHdox in Copenhagen on November 7th, and is followed by two more screenings at the festival.  To see the schedule and buy tickets visit the CPHdox site here.  The film then has its Montreal premiere at RIDM on November 14th, followed by a second screening on November 19th.  Visit RIDM's site to buy tickets here.

The film features an appropriately creepy score by Ram Borcar.

NYC Premiere of The Price We Pay


Harold Crooks' incendiary documentary The Price We Pay screens tomorrow night, October 28th at 7pm at the SVA School of Visual Arts Theatre in New York City!  The award-winning film, boasts an original score from our very own Ramachandra Borcar, and has caugt the attention of audiences and critics around the globe.  Steve Gravestock, chief programmer at the Toronto International Film Festival, hailed the doc as "One of the most unsettling films I saw all year, and one of the smartest."

Ram Borcar speaks at the POP Symposium


Don't miss POP Montreal's Symposium on "Music, Video Games & New Technologies: The Shape of Fun to Come" a symposium on music composition in video games. Ram Borcar is one of this year's distinguished panelists, invited to discuss in particular his work on Ubisoft's hugely successful Far Cry 4. The symposium takes place Saturday, Sept. 19th at the POP Arcade / Quartier POP.

Ram Borcar signs to Evolution Music Partners

We're proud to announce that label-owner and film composer Ram Borcar has just been signed to the LA-based talent agency for film composers Evolution Music Partners.  Ram finds himself in good company since the agency's roster includes composers such as Brian Reitzell (Hannibal, 30 Days of Night), Daniel Licht (Dexter, The Red Road) and one of Ram's personal heroes David Shire (The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham 123) amongst many others.
